This is when Selector I-Self for the Dancehall/Reggae soundsystem Genesis Hi-Fi born. After selecting/ mixing for Genesis Hi-Fi for roughly 10 years, he began spinning for Liberation Sound System in NYC, expanding his quest for Global Booty shakin' music, Comrade discovered Baile Funk (Funk Carioca) and has been addicted to the Brazilian Tambor swing ever since! then... XÃO PRODUCTIONS was born in July 2007, (thanks to the efforts of Kokos Kypros, Chaach, Comrade and Mc Gringo) to create a bridge straight from the Morros (hills) of Brazils Favelas, to New York and beyond. for more info, updates, etc. visit http://www.xaoproductions.com/ http://www.myspace.com/xaoproductions Tamo Juntos!
Mr. Vega
Artist-info
Mr. Vega’s heart has always been in house music since a young boy watching his father DJ house parties in New York in the early 80s. First starting as a Hip Hop producer before crossing over to electronic music, he was still influenced by the sounds of Daft Punk, Carl Cox, Junior Vazquez and more. Growing tired of the redundant hip hip scene he stumbled on to Justice’s “Cross” & Boys Noize’s “Oi Oi Oi” and instantly he knew what he wanted to do with his life. Vega’s style has become unique and versatile with every track produced being distinctively different from the next. From the hard fist pumping anthems to slower melodic dance hits he covers every aspect of electronic music and he does it very well. 2009 was the breakout year for Mr. Vega flooding the blog scene with popular remixes for the likes of Yuksek, Dragonette, Franz Ferdinand, Lady Gaga, Passion Pit, Felix Da Housecat, Tiga, Royksopp & Phoenix. Near the closing of 09 he digitally released his first official single “I Came To, You Came To” on Kiss My Bass Recordings. The single was a huge success overseas receiving loads of blog support and DJ support especially from NY Trouble & Bass DJ/Producer Drop The Lime who was quoted as saying “ I Came To, You Came To was big in my sets...”. Vega starts off his 2010 with the start of his own imprint Rot10 Musik and the first official release “Play Me At Pacha Louder”. The single is already circulating through the DJ scene and was featured in IHeartComix DJ Franki Chan’s January Podcast for Urb.com. With every release and DJ mix he is continuing to gain more and more attention from veteran acts and will join them as he performs at WMC this year as well as supporting them in upcoming tours in the spring & summer. Mr. Vega is very well apart of the new school of electronic music producers and shows he intends to stay at the on top of his class.

MiniMaxX & DJEJ
Artist-info
The MiniMaxX & DJEJ duo sparked about a year and a half ago. Started with a few fun dirty house collabs, and ultimately resulted in their new found Moombahton home. Putting out various free tracks ultimately caught the ears of Sazon Booya and their Rot10 Musik home, which they now call their own. The first official MiniMaxX & DJEJ release was featured on the "Rot10 Musik Invades Miami: Vol 2" compilation with their track "MiGente." Following this, they put out a few more official remix releases through Rot10, all of which received great feedback. On September 10th 2012. MiniMaxX & DJEJ released their first album, "Servezas." So many great things have resulted from this and both Maxx & EJ are extremely grateful for everything. The EP reached 25 on Beatports top 100 Electro release charts, and sustained on the charts for quite some time. Furthermore, the EP has received tons of support from people that inspire them within the Moombah world, including Dave Nada, Munchi, Tittsworth, ETC!ETC!, Kid Cedek, Valentino Khan & many more. Many more great things are to come..It is only the very beginning of the long journey for these two within this wild industry, if you caught on already, thank you!
