Thursday’s show is a delightful exploration of Folk influenced music. The headliners, Chloe Sunshine, bring star quality- dreamy surf pop, catchy enough to be the soundtrack to our heartbroken summers. Bird Courage is another standout tonight, transcending the boundaries of Folk and bringing their audience emotional and harmonious music that will surely impress. Keyke and Helioscope bring their own brands of experimentation to the table, shifting the sonic perspective of the night with their unique styles. Officially welcome spring with this fantastic, warm-weathered bill, served best with a cold beer.

Chloë Sunshine delivers a "sun-soaked and surf-tinged Californian feel-good sound." (Mercedes-Benz Magazine). The low-fi brainchild of California babe and recent NYC transplant Kendall Chloë Eagan, their debut album, Indian Summer gained national attention with comparisons to bands such as "Cults, Tegan And Sara, Dum Dum Girls and Tennis!," (http://www.danceyrselfclean.com/). Joined by seasoned D.C. songstress Jessica Louise Dye (Lightfoot) and fellow Berklee alum, lead guitarist Natasha Chitayat, their sound is loud, melodic and danceable. Chloë Sunshine's love songs combine echoing vocals with a wall of fuzzy surf guitar that taste like summer.
