Like a rising storm in a desert. Showering the plains with enigmatic energy, comes a new artist and songwriter..Sandflower A Brownsville Brooklyn baby at heart , bred with the beats of rock and roll and the high energy of pop pumping through her veins. As an only child, one can only imagine what music has given to her. She creates her own sonic realm filled with her brand of unique unlimited energy and now she's bringing that very universe to you! Sandflower is all about grabbing life with both hands. She is definetly not the kind of girl that plays by the rules. Between her outrageous dress expression, attitude, delivery and energy you are guaranteed to never want to walk away the same. Sandflower is the definition of Power. Powers to make you feel you. The person you want to be. The person you wish you were. She will show how you to be free, to be strong, to be fun, just to be. It's all in her lyrics and delivery. Sandflower Power is something you never had but you wanted it bad. Sandflower Power is something you see but you can never touch it. Inky Jack

Artist-info

Inky Jack's founding members found themselves working deep in the urban/pop machine (Cash Money, Diplomats, etc.) before they came out kicking and screaming, delving back into their indie roots with newly-minted pop sensibilities. Inky Jack is making real, fun, honest music that is resonating with people and growing their fan base. Having landed a monthly residency at Brooklyn's Trash Bar (named best punk bar in NYC in 2011 by the Village Voice), and recently playing the BK Indie Fest, CMJ, and SxSW, Inky Jack is ready to support their release with a live show that makes people move like they're sand-skiing in the dunes of Jamaica or just trying to pull on tight pants. The band coined the term "synthy soul-rock" to describe their records as well as their live shows, which consists of a system of drum machines and synthesizers in addition to the standard rock band components. Inky Jack has been compared to TV on the Radio, Passion Pit, and Gnarls Barkley, among others.

Coley

From a broken home in a small town outside of Philadelphia to graduating Georgetown University in 3 years to working on Wall Street and then leaving to pursue his dream as an artist and launch Revel Music Group,Coley is on a mission to inspire the undaunted pursuit of your dreams while not taking yourself so seriously. Perseverance has driven Coley through years of personal and professional struggles, all the way to CEO of Revel Music, a record label that has landed major label deals and works with some of the biggest names in music. In retrospect, it’s easy to look back at the young Coley – a hustler with big dreams and energetic entertainer and say that ending up where he did was inevitable. Coley was performing and doin’ biz literally since he was able to talk. Coley jokes, “My first joint venture was with my Ma at 5. I took an inventory of products in the house and found coupons for her and she’d split 50% of the savings with me.” He first started rapping in 2nd grade and in high school Coley was that guy – the boisterous prankster whose antics got him in trouble with teachers but seemed to excel at everything he put his mind to… straight A’s, vice president of his class, National Honor Society, basketball and soccer teams, a lead in the school play and manager of a local pet store. However, Coley’s home life had begun to unravel. After multiple separations, his folks split in a messy divorce that left the family in a tight spot financially. Despite the painful distractions, Coley stayed focused and got into Georgetown University – a prestigious but pricey school in Washington, D.C that the family couldn’t afford. This pushed Coley harder to make it happen. He took extra classes a semester to graduate early in 3 years; worked on the side as a licensed commercial real estate agent and on Wall Street during the summer; and paid his tuition hustling anything he could get his hands on. Coley recalls, “I’ve slanged all sorts of things to keep my dream alive, it’s pretty ridiculous - from puppies to weed to real estate to custom-made suits I imported from Vietnam to financial products to music, you name it. I’m a hustler by nature, but I only sell things I believe in.” By the time he graduated, Coley was magna cum laude with dual degrees in finance and international business and a theater minor, and had started an independent record label that would go on to become Revel Music Group. After graduating, Coley landed a 100-hour-a-week job on Wall Street as a media investment banker for Credit Suisse. You might say Coley, who can’t help but march to the beat of his own drum, didn’t quite fit in to a buttoned-up bankers’ world. Though he saw success at his firm, working on billion dollar deals and learning the financial system, Coley spent his late nights writing music and building Revel Music Group. And then, buried deep in the frenetic pace of Wall Street but pulled inescapably towards his love for music and performing, is when Coley met Joe “The Butcher” Nicolo — the nine-time Grammy-winning owner and producer of iconic Philly-based label Ruffhouse Records, who helped launch legends like The Fugees, Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Cypress Hill, and Will Smith while selling over 100 million records/winning 9 Grammys. They partnered up along with Joe’s son Tyler Nicolo to launch Revel Music Group together. Coley’s music blends his knack for lyrics, humor, and social commentary into a series of analytical and introspective rap songs on everything from business and women to personal storytelling and social commentary. His songs are the stories of his life boiled down to a few brutally honest bars, mixed alternately with a dose of sarcasm or sincerity, amped up by big beats and catchy choruses. Staying true to Revel’s business model, which oversees an artist from discovery to launch and produces albums in-house, Coley’s debut album has been written entirely by Coley and produced by Revel Music’s production team. Enjoy the ride…

Party Supplies

Official Site

Artist-info

Party Supplies is the stage name of Justin Nealis, a Queens-born producer and literal one man band whose handmade MPC symphonies and heartfelt stage presence blend hip-hop energy with anthemic indie hooks. His homegrown remixes for Arcade Fire and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros turn festival favorites into cut and paste epics, and his production work for the likes of Action Bronson and Das Racist prove his boom-bap bonafides. Yet on original tracks like "Workin Out" and "Going Hard Forever" (from his forthcoming debut LP on Fool's Gold), both sides of Party Supplies combine for yearning singalongs over propulsive live drum machine beats. It's a show that must be seen to be believed, and has made fans-for-life out of the thousands who have already caught PS in action at Fool's Gold parties all year long. This is classic rock from the future, don't get left behind...
