Friday. Sept 26 Subatomic Sound & Easy Star Records present a night of earth shaking mixing board dub performances on the custom Tsunami Bass Sound System. This Dub Champions Festival event is dedicated to live performance dub centered on the mixing board featuring a massive bill including original mix master Victor Rice all the way from Brazil mixing up “Dub Side of the Moon” for the 10th anniversary. The sound on this night is brought to you by the one and only Tsunami Bass and be assured that decibels will be engineered to perfection. The night will begin with a free dub workshop featuring Victor Rice hosted by Emch of Subatomic Sound System in conjunction with Dubspot and SubPac.

DUB CHAMPIONS FESTIVAL :::::
The fourth annual Dub Champions Festival returns to New York City Sept 22-Oct 8 to celebrate the influential style known as dub, from the reggae roots to the future of electronic bass music, featuring one of a kind performances & educational workshops by the legendary artists from Jamaica who invented dub as well as the latest innovators from around the globe who have continued to push the influential style forward in electronic music and beyond. NYC label Subatomic Sound began the mission four years ago developing a week long festival here in the city that has included NYC, DC, Philadelphia, and Boston, as well as expanded to Europe over the past two years and debuted this year on the West Coast in California.

The night of Sept 26 will include a full bill of mixing board dub artists including Analog Players Society promoting a new vinyl release and flexing state of the art 1970′s technology…Nasty horns..Big drums… Sweaty dance floors..No samples, and no laptops. Just one man performing live reel-to-reel tape dub.

Also in the mix will be I Grade Dub joined by mic veteran Ras Attitude from the Virgin Islands, representing the dub sound in the Caribbean from big artists like Midnite, Dezarie, Pressure Buss Pipe, Lutan Fyah, and more.

BK veteran selectro Liondub will tear the place up in the late night with selections connecting the past to the future of dub and sound system culture. Jr Volcano Posse, Maddie Ruthless & Chuck Zilla will set the night off with classic vinyl selection.
