My favorite things about living in New York are the awesome cafés and restaurants. This week I went to a local coffee shop called Little Skips, which is located at 941 Willoughby Ave (about a mile from The Paper Box).

If you’re looking for a cozy place to sit down in with a great cup of coffee, Little Skips is the place to go. Its rustic environment features local artist and is constantly changing, I particularly love that it’s a local shop supporting local artists.

I happened to come to the shop on the day of a free cupping (which isn’t sexual, at all)! I got to taste and learn about some of the coffee that they brew from organic farmers in South America.

The staff is really friendly and committed to educating its customers about their coffee. In addition to their lattes, Little Skips serves amazing food, from salads to sandwiches and pastries. There’s free internet and awesome music, which makes it the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet afternoon.
